:: Parent confidence and child healthy weight behaviours.
  Marina Nelson
Curtin University of Technology
The aim of this research is to gain a better understanding of the way parent confidence influences young people‚Äôs weight related behaviours, such as eating habits, physical activities and leisure activities. Learning about parent confidence is important; research has shown that parents are crucially influential on child weight behaviours. This research will increase our understanding of overweight and obesity in young people, and help develop better ways of assessing treatments.
Participants must be primary caregivers of children aged between 4 and 17 years.
